Ken Ward – Branch Manager

Ken Ward has extensive experience in the banking sector, having worked for many years as an experienced Bank Manager with a major bank. Living locally, Ken was interested in the Community Bank® model with Bendigo Bank and when the Harbord community was galvanized, he recognised the need for a strong manager to get the new business off to a good start. Ken started with Freshwater Community Bank® in December 2002 and helped to establish the new branch.

Sandra Kleiner – Assistant Manager

Sandra commenced employment with Freshwater Community Bank®in April 2005 as a Customer Service Officer. Being a local Freshwater resident, Sandra is well known in the community.

With an Associate Diploma in Management and working in the banking industry for over 25 years, Sandra’s professional experience extends from Business Banking to the Retail Sector. With exceptional customer service and management skills, Sandra has recently been promoted to Assistant Manager since November 2009.

Angela Moore – Customer Service Supervisor

Angela has been working with Freshwater Community Bank® since it’s inception in June 2002. Having spent 15 years at Australia Post Harbord, Angela has a solid relationship with the people of Freshwater and enjoys working for the community. Since working with Freshwater Community Bank® from the beginning, Angela has developed a sound working product knowledge to meet customer needs.

Melanie Carson – Business Development Officer

Melanie started with Freshwater Community Bank® in June 2008. With an extensive background in Sales and Marketing, Account, Project and Event Management, Melanie has developed her skills across several industries including hospitality, publishing, IT and cosmetics. From early days at St George bank, Melanie is now using her abilities to engage the Freshwater community in Bendigo Bank’s Community philosophy. Supporting local schools, sporting and recreational groups; not-for-profit organisations and community events, Melanie assists in all aspects of Harbord Community Bank’s financial contribution back into Freshwater and surrounding suburbs.

Rebekah Croft – Customer Relationship Officer

Rebekah has been with Bendigo Bank for 7 years. With a colourful background ranging from Film & TV appearances to Music Management, Rebekah has extensive Marketing and Event Management skills. As an enthusiastic member of the Freshwater Community, Rebekah’s passion for Community banking saw her match her previous skills with further education in lending and finance to support the core model of Freshwater Community Bank® being the “people’s bank”.

Su-Ellen Laing – Customer Service Officer

Su-Ellen joined out team at Freshwater Community Bank®in 2005 and offers 20 years of banking expertise. With experience from various financial institutions, Su is a resource of knowledge in current banking practices and is meticulous in servicing customer needs.

Cheerie Watt – Customer Service Officer

Cheerie has an extensive Sales background gained from 10 years experience at a local Importing Company. Providing quality customer service, Cheerie joined our team in 2005 in support of the Community Bank® concept. Being a local resident and involved in the activities of Freshwater, Cheerie is passionate about the role we play in the community.

Belinda Gordon – Customer Service Officer

Belinda Gordon

Belinda has been a part of the Freshwater community for over 27 years. As the newest member of our team she brings her customer service skills from working in two local newsagents during the last 14 years, before commencing with Freshwater Community Bank® . With 2 children graduating from local schools and now studying at university, Belinda’s familiar face and local knowledge is an asset to the branch.
