TREVOR LESLIE SARGEANT - Chairman
Trevor owns a local dentist surgery in Harbord and has done for over 24 years. Married to Vicki, he has 3 children, Emma, Adam and Ellie, and has worked and lived in Harbord his whole life. Trevor has been with Harbord Financial Services since the inception of the bank in 2002. He is Chairman of the board of Directors, and an active member of the community.
IAN GREENTREE - Secretary
Ian contributes his extensive business consulting and legal skills to Harbord Financial Services. Married to Michelle with 2 children, Ian has been an active member of Freshwater for many years. He is passionate about Harbord Financial Services and its contribution to the community.
GARRY CHADWICK - Treasurer
A CPA Accountant, Garry has also been a Justice of the Peace for 40 years. With experience as a management consultant, property development and a local business owner, Garry has lived in Freshwater for the most part of 25 years. Garry has been Treasurer for Harbord Financial Services for over 5 years.
NOELA ROSE ROBERTS - Director
Noela has lived in Harbord for over 36 years and assisted in the family electrical business during this time. She is married to Richard for 36 years and has 2 sons, Adam and Craig. She has an Economics Degree from Sydney University and has worked in the accounting industry. She has a variety of sporting interests in the local area. Noela makes a valued contribution to the board, especially providing a women’s perspective as well as her community knowledge. Noela has been a Director of Harbord Financial Services Limited since 2007.
JOHN VACCARO - Director
John Vaccaro joined Harbord Financial Services Limited Board in 2007, a key member of the Marketing sub-committee and a licensed Real Estate professional with 28 years industry experience. Employed at Richardson & Wrench Freshwater-Manly as their Licensee in Charge and is a local resident of Freshwater for the last 37 years. John is a Justice of the Peace and is actively involved and passionate about his local community. A past president of the P & F and a School Board member for St John the Baptist School, Freshwater he has also served as Vice-Chairman for the Real Estate Institute of NSW Pittwater Division, which included sitting on the disciplinary and ethics committee for the Division during that time.
DARREN JONES - Director
A local Harbord resident, attended Harbord Public School (class of ’59). A carpenter and joiner by trade. Served the local community as Shire Councillor for 25 years. In that period served as the elected Shire President/Mayor on 3 occasions. Past President of Harbord Public School P & C Association and life member of P & C. Former Club Captain of South Curl Curl SLSC and awarded Life Member of South Curl Curl SLSC. Life Patron of Queenscliff Amateur Swimming Club. Played junior rugby league with Harbord United (Premiers) and Allambie Heights (Premiers) senior graded (2nd grade) football with MWARFC. Awarded Distinguished Service Member of Sydney Northern Beaches Surf Life Saving. Director of Harbord Financial Services for 3 years.
IAN JOYNSON - Director
Married to Fay for 45 years with 3 children and 2 grandchildren, Ian was employed by Rocla Industries Ltd for over 20 years with 15 years in marketing and management. He then had over 20 years experience as proprietor and operator of both Harbord and Harbord West newsagencies. He is a founding Director and an active member of the bank’s market development committee.
BRAD O’CONNOR - Director
Brad has 26 years business management experience, successfully establishing and managing businesses in the plumbing and building industries with up to 35 staff members. He also holds his pilot license and has vast experience in aviation with endorsements in multi-engine aircraft, passenger aircraft, corporate and executive transport along with freight and transport management. Brad has an extensive background in agricultural and aggregation businesses and has owned and managed a series of multi-diversification properties including cropping, irrigation and animal husbandry. He is an active community member participating in Rotary International (Past President and Paul Harris Fellow), Whale Beach Surf Life Saving Club (International Instruction), and Warringah Rugby Club (Colts coach). He is a foundation member and shareholder of Harbord Bendigo Bank and was invited to sit on the Board in 2003.
MARTIN BROOK - Director
As proprietor of Brooks Pharamacy in Freshwater for over 20 years, Martin has been a Director of the bank since its inception. He is married with 3 children.

SIMMONE LINAY - Personal Assistant
Married to Kim for 27 years, Simmone has three daughters Cassandra, Brianna and Tiffany, and has lived on the Northern Beaches all her life. Simmone is a life member of Beacon Hill Youth Club Netball, played with Warringah Softball Club, and more recently coaches Peninsula Netball. Her main interests are sewing and making crafts and loves to cook and entertain. She has worked on and off in the banking industry for approximately 20 years, and has done bookkeeping for last 15 years.
